Summer Student Positions

Lake Country Power has the following temporary openings for students:

Facility Maintenance Worker

One opening at the Mountain Iron and one opening at the Grand Rapids service center. Primary duties include lawn maintenance at LCP's service centers, outposts, and substations.

Qualified applicants must be 18 or older and enrolled in a post-secondary education program. Additional qualifications include a valid Class D MN Driver’s License and familiarity with the operation and transportation of commercial lawn maintenance equipment.

IT Intern

This opening is at the Grand Rapids or Mountain Iron service center, depending on candidate preference. This position is responsible for assisting the IT department on specific projects including data center infrastructure, PC hardware/software or enterprise applications.

Qualified candidates must be 18 or older and pursuing a four-year post-secondary education in Information Systems or related field. Candidates must be able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, possess professional communication skills, and have a valid MN Class D driver’s license.
