Lake Country Power members served by the Cotton Substation will be without power starting 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 31, for approximately three hours.

The planned outage will affect more than 1,200 cooperative members and will impact areas such as Cotton, Nichols Lake, Three Lakes, East and West Bass Lakes, Dinham Lake, Melrude, Comstock Lake, Kelsey and north of Canyon.

The planned outage is necessary for crews to safely rebuild both overhead and underground lines as Lake Country Power transitions service to the new Cotton Substation that’s been under construction since summer 2023.
