The Resort on Jasper Lake: The Lake House

The Resort on Jasper Lake in Ely received $100,000 from Lake Country Power's  Revolving Loan Fund to remodel The Lake House, a beautifully hand-crafted 3,250 square foot home that sleeps up to 14 guests in four large bedrooms, each with their own custom bath. The lower level features a large, open gourmet kitchen that overlooks the expansive Great Room with a walk-around hand-laid stone fireplace and spectacular views of Jasper Lake.

Cromwell Medical Clinic

Soderbloom Properties LLC partnered with Lake Country Power on a $75,000 Revolving Loan to support construction of the Cromwell Medical Clinic, a 3,903 square-foot medical office building to house a local clinic and physical therapy business.

Bois Forte: Bravery House

The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa and Lake Country Power recently partnered on a project utilizing a vacant building to create a new homeless shelter. Weweni Bimaadizing (Bravery House) will operate 24/7, facilitating shelter for up to 30 days, and help provide mental health services for tribal members. LCP facilitated the installation of a new high efficiency air source heat pump and electric water heater.

Midstate Plastics Corporation

Midstate Plastics Corporation in Remer manufactures a wide variety of product lines for retail and production industries. They partnered with LCP to expand and upgrade their manufacturing process utilizing energy efficiency and electrification programs.
