Lake Country Power has invested $6.5 million into regional businesses and economic development throughout our region.

We are the largest member-owned electric cooperative with a geographical territory of more than 10,000 square miles encompassing 8 counties (Aitkin, Carlton, Cass, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Pine and St. Louis).

 First Call for Help Itasca County

Lake Country Power recently presented a rebate check to First Call for Help Itasca County for new heating and cooling systems.

Cook Health Care Auxiliary Thrift Shop

Lake Country Power delivered rebates to the Cook Health Care Auxiliary Thrift Shop in Cook for Steffes room unit replacements. Proceeds from the shop go directly to the local hospital and nursing home.

The Resort on Jasper Lake

The Resort on Jasper Lake in Ely received $100,000 from Lake Country Power's  Revolving Loan Fund to remodel The Lake House, a beautifully hand-crafted 3,250 square foot home that sleeps up to 14 guests in four large bedrooms, each with their own custom bath. The lower level features a large, open gourmet kitchen that overlooks the expansive Great Room with a walk-around hand-laid stone fireplace.

Midstate Plastics Corporation in Remer manufactures a wide variety of product lines for retail and production industries. They partnered with LCP to expand and upgrade their manufacturing process utilizing energy efficiency and electrification programs.
