Since Monday afternoon, June 29, and then again after power was knocked out overnight, June 30, for 12,000 Lake Country Power members, crews have been working around the clock to restore service from two severe summer storms hitting the region.
As of 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, nearly 6,900 cooperative members are without power. Crews are working to restore service at 223 outage locations across most of Lake Country Power’s service area.
This month, the co-op’s board approved to allocate more than $12.3 million of the Lake Country Power and Great River Energy 2025 margins into long-term member capital credit accounts.
