Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power recently appointed Ryan Ferguson of Howards Grove, WI as metering engineer in its Grand Rapids Service Center.

Ferguson will be responsible for providing engineering support and leadership of the cooperative’s AMI, SCADA, associated communication systems and associated maintenance activities. He will also develop and maintain the software and infrastructure necessary to support the co-op’s strategic goals.  

Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Ferguson received his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a double minor in computer science and mathematics from the University of North Dakota. He attained his professional engineer license in 2015, and most recently worked as an electrical engineer in Wisconsin.
