Grand Rapids, MN – As the calendar turns the page on all things new, it brings more than resolutions. With a new year, Lake Country Power is looking ahead to meet member needs in new ways.
To keep its co-op community informed, Lake Country Power will host meetings in each of its nine districts over the next three months. The co-op will share news about stable rates, new metering technology, co-op credits and construction projects. Each meeting starts with dinner at 5:00 p.m., followed by staff updates and time for member questions.
“Knowing we serve our neighbors, a community of consumer-owners, we always work hard to hold rates down and keep a close eye on costs,” said Greg Randa, general manager of Lake Country Power. “We hope many members will come out and join us. We have good news to share.”
Co-op members are asked to R.S.V.P. if they plan to attend by calling Angie Hanttula at 218-322-4521 or 1-800-421-9959, extension 4521. Members may also e-mail R.S.V.P.s to ahanttula@lcp.coop listing the meeting date they plan to attend.
Each meeting is scheduled 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The full meeting schedule is available online at www.lakecountrypower.coop.
