Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power welcomes Ben Hoyt of Iron, Minn., as a new lineworker to the cooperative’s operations department.

Hoyt will report from the co-op’s Mountain Iron Service Center. 

As journeyman lineworker, Hoyt will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of Lake Country Power’s electric distribution system, such as building lines and installing line devices.

Hoyt is a graduate of MN State (Wadena) Technical College electrical lineworker program and most recently worked as a journeyman lineworker with the Virginia Public Utilities.
