High winds that started after midnight on Veterans Day have Lake Country Power line crews working to prioritize service restoration. At the height, more than 1,300 members were impacted, primarily in the northern part of the cooperative’s service area.
Currently, more than 600 members are affected at 9:00 a.m. this morning with many of the outages near Lake Vermilion. The outages are scattered across the Iron Range, with additional outages being reported across Lake Country Power’s service area.
Line crews are making good progress to restore outages. They will continue working today until all power is restored.
