Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power recently hired Gabrielle Gropp as consumer account representative II. The co-op reappointed Jim Wimmer as vegetation management supervisor, and Wade Gould as area supervisor. Gropp, Wimmer and Gould, all of Grand Rapids, MN, report to LCP’s Grand Rapids Service Center.
Gropp is responsible for resolving a wide range of member inquiries regarding billing, work orders, service orders, service transfers, and walk-in visits at the front desk. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University, and most recently worked as program coordinator for the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association.
Wimmer will assist in the supervision of Lake Country Power’s integrated vegetation management program, and its contractors who perform trimming, mowing and herbicide application services, in an effort to improve electric reliability for co-op members. He’ll also assist to supervise tree crews that perform member tree requests, danger tree removal and tree clearing during storms.
Gould is responsible for balancing LCP’s labor, equipment and material for the construction and maintenance of the co-op’s electric distribution system. He’s also responsible for fleet and facility management. Gould has 27 years of experience as a lineworker, and most recently worked as crew chief in LCP’s Grand Rapids service center.
