Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power recently appointed three individuals as apprentice lineworkers – Dan Cooper of Saginaw, Zach DiIorio of Nashwauk and Derek Jensen of Baxter.
Cooper will report to the co-op’s McGregor Outpost, DiIorio will work from the Remer Outpost and Jensen will report from the Ely Outpost.
They will assist lineworkers in the construction and maintenance of Lake Country Power’s electric distribution system while training to become journeyman lineworkers.
Cooper is a graduate of Dakota Technical College’s electrical lineworker program and most recently worked as an apprentice lineworker with Connexus Energy. DiIorio graduated from the Minnesota Community and Technical College’s (Wadena) electrical lineworker program, and most recently worked for the Hibbing Public Utilities. Jensen is a graduate of the Northwest Lineman College’s lineworker program and most recently worked for Legacy Powerlines.
